What's your Google Number?
While surfing around Cafe Con Leche, where I found I made "quote of the day", I also found a reference to an article about your Google number as an indicator of reputation. Kind of interesting. Mine seems to be 6,710, which according to the article means "you are an often quoted expert in your field – a thought-leader". Who hoo, it's official now. And to think I thought it was just because I posted a lot of silly stuff on this site. BTW, Elliotte Rusty Harold who runs Cafe Con Leche has written an excellent book titled Effective XML. I read it a couple weeks ago and it is the first XML book in years that I felt was actually worth recommending. In fact, if you work with XML at all, I think it's a must read book. After all, I'm a "thought-leader" so I must know what I'm talking about... ;-) Posted by Kimbro Staken Sunday Dec 7, 2003 at 3:24 AM | Recommended Sites JumpBox Virtual Appliances Virtualization Daily Grid7 Venturecast Inspirational Technology Scrollin on Dubs MC Ping - Microcontent Notfications
