My first picturesI don't have a lot of pictures that I actually like yet, but I couldn't get a camera and then not post any pictures so here's a few early shots from the Digital Rebel. I'm a real night person so an unfortunately large amount of my time with the camera has been spent shooting in the dark. I thought the Olympus C740 did fairly well at night, that is until I saw a shot from the Rebel, absolutely no comparison. These shots are of Xavier in Phoenix. Click for larger views. This was shot between two palm trees. In this shot I learned that palm trees don't make a particularly good frame. These were interesting shots at full resolution as they showed a number of stars, considerably more then were visible with the naked eye (I had to check to make sure they weren't hot pixels). I think that gets lost when you shrink them so much. 6 mega-pixel images are 3072x2048 at full size. I'm not sure how best to handle getting those down to web page size yet.
