Another day at the park

Skatepark that is. This time from the Paradise Valley skate park in Phoenix. Bikes aren't actually allowed in this park, but other then almost getting arrested it was a good time. I ran into Jason Ryan who is very active in trying to get the parks opened up to bikes and isn't afraid of a little civil disobedience along the way. Turns out Jason's been riding for 18 years which stretches back into the time when I used to ride. We knew a lot of the same people, though our paths had never crossed before. Turns out Jason makes videos of extreme sports as Psychic Flying Monkey Productions.

This was the first time I've tried shooting bikes so there's a lot I'll do different next time. It was also mid-day so light was a little harsh.

No footed can-can. My timing wasn't good on this as I was trying to shoot a sequence and kept missing the peak of the trick. Maybe next time.

I took a few skateboard shots too. I didn't catch this guys name, but he was really tearing things up.
