XForms 1.0

The W3C has declared XForms 1.0 a recommendation. I was reading Micah Dubinko's XForms Essentials last week and it's definitely an interesting technology. Unfortunately it appears XForms may be crippled since Microsoft isn't supporting it and has come out with a competitor in InfoPath. There also don't seem to be any good clients yet. Hopefully this isn't just another overly complex W3C spec that nobody cares about. It seems genuinely useful to me, but I've seen very little discussion of it. I haven't read the spec (I did read a draft about 3 years ago), but from the book it didn't seem too bad in the complexity department.
