iTunes Time invention of the year

Seems Time has awarded the iTunes Music Store their award for invention of the year. While Apple certainly made good strides in the usability of online music sales, I would hardly call the iTMS a new invention. People had been trying to sell individual songs online for years. The great stride Apple made was in convincing the labels to allow something less then completely user hostile DRM and in finally creating a decent overall user experience. Advancements, yes, invention of the year? Well maybe if it was a really, really bad year for new technology.
