Jive XML Database Driver

This is a port of the database access layer for
Jive 1.2.4 to work on top of an
XML:DB API compliant XML database, instead of a relational database. This is
intended to serve as a proof of concept and example of using the XML:DB API in a
reasonably complex application. The Jive discussion forums software was developed by
Jive Software and prior to version
2.0 it was Open Source software. If you're looking for a good online forums
software I highly recommend Jive and the price they charge for 2.0 is reasonable.
The XML database driver will only work with Jive 1.2.4, since that is the
last open source version and was the most current version when I started on
this project.

I was planning to have a nice easy to install package for this, but I've
never gotten around to finishing it. Rather then continuing to hold the
source back and since several people have asked for it I've posted a tar
of what I have. Pretty much it's just missing a detailed explanation of
how to get it working. If you're smart I'm sure you can figure it out.
